Military Cadets
American Legion, Field-Allen Post 148 established a affiliation with the local Junior Military Cadets program when Commander Mel Greenier made contact with the cadets Commander Dan Weitz in the summer of 2017. Dan, a US Army veteran agreed to join the Post, Wally and Mel met with Dan and an alliance was formed. The cadets have worked with the Post on many community projects and programs. Receintly John Wilson, a Post member donated his 1952 M-37 military 3/4 ton vehicle to the Post, which in turn agreed to loan the vehicle to Dan and his cadets.
